Bowling Green, OH – Angela Zimmann, Democratic candidate for Ohio’s newly competitive Fifth U.S. Congressional District and full-time faculty member at Bowling Green State University, will join BGSU students at a joint press conference highlighting the Ryan Budget’s impact on education cost including cuts to the Pell Grant program.

Zimmann is an ordained Lutheran minister and full-time faculty member at Bowling Green State University. An elected board member and past president of the Lucas County Educational Service Center, Zimmann served as the 2011 President of the Northwest Region of the Ohio School Boards Association. A lifelong resident of Holland, OH, Zimmann currently lives with her husband, Dr. Martin Zimmann, and their children.
